Revealing the special meaning of the arresting title of his latest work, Director Lee also relays more details about Now, We Are Breaking Up.
SBS new Friday-Saturday drama traverses the varied flavors of romance. Featuring an emotional love story as well as poignant breakups. It is written as a farewell and read as love.
According to the production team, director Lee worked as a cinematographer for 20 years, including Giant, My Love from the Star, and Vagabond. He also proved his strong directing ability by co-directing the top-rated Doctor Romantic 2.
For his latest project in Now We Are Breaking Up, he aims for a realistic and sensible love in the workplace setting of the vibrant fashion industry.
Director Lee described the drama to be based on life melodies. He adds how the series is not a typical melodrama that focuses only on the love story of the male and female protagonists.
It will also feature the admirable bond of three women who have been friends for 20 years since high school. Along with that, family relationships will also be highlighted.
