MBC’s Friday-Saturday series, Numbers, recently wrapped up and has engaged viewers with its interesting story.
Quite a spectacle for its plot twists, clever characters and story unpredictability, the main stars take time to share their thoughts.
Kim Myung Soo (L), Choi Jin Hyuk, Choi Min Soo, Yeon Woo, and Kim Yu Ri expressed their feelings about the end of the show, expressing their gratitude to the viewers.
Numbers is a human office action drama in which a high school graduate accountant Jang Ho-woo (Kim Myung Soo) fights against the absurdities of a large accounting firm and realizes justice in the most accountant-like and least accountant-like way.
The events that blow like a storm every time and the shocking development make it impossible to let go of the tension until the end, and the hearts of the viewers are ensnared.
In particular, with accountants and accounting firms as the subject matter, favorable reviews for properly showing the charm of the office action drama continue, and expectations and interest toward the ending of Numbers.
Correspondingly, the five main characters of the drama conveyed their heartfelt feelings for the series.
First of all, Kim Myung Soo (L), who played the role of high school graduate accountant Jang Ho-woo in the play and renewed his new life character.
“As it is a comeback work after being discharged from the military, Numbers is a very precious work for me. I was able to meet good seniors, juniors and the staff. We had fun and enjoyed filming together. I filmed while thinking about how to easily approach the profession of accountants and accounting terminology. Through this work, I hope it will present the difficult job of an accountant. I salute all those who are engaged in the accounting industry in Korea. I am grateful to the viewers who have loved me so far. I will see you with my next work with a new look.”
Choi Jin Hyuk, who left a strong impression by freely showing delicate emotional acting and strong charisma through the role of Han Seung-jo, an ace accountant at Taeil Accounting Firm, also conveyed his last thoughts.
“Since the character Seung-jo is a character with a story, I wanted to express it in three dimensions. I thought about ideas that I could express the character in a more fun way throughout the filming. There are regrets, but it is a work that I personally learned a lot from. I want to say that it is a memorable work and I am grateful that I was able to work happily with such great staff. I also sincerely thank all of you for watching. In the future, I will try to become an actor who acts truthfully without cheating.“
Next, Choi Min Soo, who showed an unparalleled presence as the strongest villain Han Je-kyun disclose his insights.
“While filming Numbers, the staff and actors, became very close, and the fruit of that seems to remain very precious. Everyone worked hard, and I hope many viewers will remember it as a good time while watching Numbers.”
Yeonwoo, who was greatly loved for her character Yuna Jin, who has a charm that cannot help but be loved, shares fond words as well.
“It was an honorable time to be with wonderful actors, directors, writers, and staff. I learned a lot on set, and personally, it’s a pity that the show ended already. I also feel sad when I remember the hardships, we all had while filming. I want to say thank you to the many viewers who have loved and supported Numbers and Jin Yuna so far.“
Lastly, Kim Yu Ri, who played the role of a hidden card in Numbers as Jang Ji-soo, also expressed her gratitude.
“I sincerely thank all the people who worked hard together on the field and the many people who worked hard behind the scenes, from the cold weather to the point where it was too hot to stand still. I am grateful to be able to meet and work with good people. In the meantime, I sincerely thank everyone who has watched and been interested in Numbers.”
