Choi Woo Shik and Kim Da Mi are set to gift an endearing romantic comedy, Our Beloved Summer in December.
Directed by Kim Yoon Jin and written by Lee Na Eun, Our Beloved Summer depicts the story of a couple who broke up by saying that they had a waste of time and decided not to meet again.
Ten years after, a documentary that the ex-couple filmed when they were together during high school acquires sudden popularity that pushes them to meet again.
SBS also dropped photos of the main actors who attended the table-read.
Refreshing Teaser
Our Beloved Summer releases a teaser poster giving a glimpse of the ambiance of the drama. The two high school uniforms hanging with a background of fresh leaves from a tree set a mood that the love that the couple had was soothing and relaxing.
The text “the early summer of the year that I fell in love with you,” also leads to curiosity about the romance of this couple.
The male lead character Choi-Woong (Choi Woo Shik), can be described as an immature free spirit who goes with the flow. However, he gets serious when he realizes for the first time what he wants in his life.
Meanwhile, her girlfriend Gook Yeon-Soo (Kim Da Mi), sets a goal to be no.1 during her high school days. She managed to be a public relations officer and was recognized by everyone. Time passed, Yeon-Soo has been living her life to the fullest even though she has a wounded heart.
Reuniting after many years, Choi-Woong and Yeon-Soo became business partners while falling again into the pit of emotions that they once buried.
With its fresh young actors, the romance drama Our Beloved Summer, which originated from a Naver webtoon, gives a reminiscence about the beautiful past that two people shared.
Our Beloved Summer sets to premiere its pilot episode on December 6, 10:00 pm at SBS.
