The drama stars Park Hyung Sik as doomed crown prince Lee Hwan and Jeon So Nee as the framed genius girl, Min Jae-yi. The lead characters of the story are committed to uncovering the truth for the sake of mutual survival.
In addition, Pyo Ye Jin plays Ga-ram, Min Jae-yi’s investigation companion. Next, Yoon Jong Seok suits up as Han Sung-on, the grandson of a prestigious family who lost his fiancée; while Lee Tae Sun portrays Kim Myung-jin, Joseon’s greatest eccentric who knows almost everything. Rounding up the lead cast is Heo Won Seo as Tae-kang, a distant escort warrior who follows Lee Hwan wherever he goes.
In the youth poster released, you can get a glimpse of the bright smiles of the six people who are trying to pioneer their own lives instead of a given destiny. In particular, Crown Prince Lee Hwan, who is rarely seen smiling due to his tough personality, draws attention with a subtle smile on his face.
Interestingly, Min Jae-yi, an adopted member of a high-ranking family, is dressed as a man. Her partner Ga-ram also wears commoner clothing usually donned by men hinting at their intriguing mission.
The stories of Han Sung On, Kim Myung Jin, and Tae Kang, who have a special bond with one another that goes beyond their social and gender roles, are also highlighted.
Viewers are anticipating the young Koreans’ creative endeavors, which they hope will range from heartwarming love stories to thrilling adventures to mysterious wonders.
Our Blooming Youth will premiere on February 6 at 8:50 p.m. on tvN.
