Kim Seo Hyung defines expressive and thrilling characterization for her latest drama venture, Pale Moon.
Genie TV’s original drama Pale Moon, which will be released for the first time in April, is a suspense story about a woman who lived a suffocating daily life. She confronts an irreversible predicament after embezzling money from bank VIP customers.
In the released teaser poster, Yoo Yi-hwa, portrayed by Kim Seo Hyung is heading somewhere on the subway wearing a bank teller uniform. Notably, Kim’s image is different from her previous roles and attracts attention.
On the poster, it says: “Leave the real me for fake happiness.” Along with Yi-hwa’s sad gaze, effortlessly draws attention. Her story of jumping into a new society outside of her daily life as a housewife raises curiosity.
Correspondingly, the teaser trailer released together depicts her daily life that gradually changes. Succumbing to risky decisions, Kim Seo Hyung also captures the dangerous inner side of Yoo Yi-hwa, raising tension.
Going back and forth with cryptic expressions, Kim beams at one moment while sitting alone in a restaurant and then looks worried at the next turn while holding a bundle of money.
Pale Moon is slated for April premiere and will be released on Genie TV, ENA and TVING.
