Park Bo Gum is taking a break from the screens to complete his mandatory military service.
Blossom Entertainment confirms that Park Bo Gum is scheduled to join the military on August 31. The actor will be a part of the Navy’s Cultural Promotion Unit.
Despite this, his company shared updates about his upcoming small and big screen participation. They plan to finish filming Wonderland and Record of Youth before he enlists. In addition, the agency is asking for support to help the actor fulfill his national defense obligations in good health.
Record of Youth pairs up Park Bo Gum, Byun Woo Suk, and Park So Dam. The latter is famous for her stint in Cinderella with Four Knights and Oscar-winning movie Parasite. The drama will air on tvN and Netflix this year.
Aside from the small screen, Park joins a star-studded cast in Wonderland which would be released in 2021. He will be acting alongside Gong Yoo, Rebecca Tang, Bae Suzy, Choi Woo Shik, and Jung Yu Mi.
