Quiet Becomes Chaos in Netflix’s “The Frog”

Netflix is set to unleash a new wave of terror with its upcoming Korean suspense thriller, The Frog.

Premiering on August 23, the series promises to keep audiences on the edge of their seats with its gripping storyline and chilling atmosphere.

Directed by Mo Wan-il, the mastermind behind the critically acclaimed The World of the Married, The Frog follows a group of ordinary people whose tranquil lives are disrupted by the arrival of a mysterious guest.

Leading the cast is seasoned actor Kim Yun Seok (Noryang: Deadly Sea, Escape from Mogadishu) as Young-ha, the owner of a serene pension in the woods. His calm is shattered by the enigmatic Seong-a, played by Go Min Si (Sweet Home), who delivers a chilling performance, as seen in the trailer where she cries out, covered in blood.

Also starring are Yoon Kye Sang (The Kidnapping Day) as Sang-jun, the owner of a rural motel whose peace is similarly disturbed by an unexpected guest, and Lee Jung Eun (Miss Night and Day, Daily Dose of Sunshine) as the sharp-witted cop investigating the cases of both Young-ha and Sang-jun.

Prepare to be captivated by a tale of suspense, mystery, and unexpected twists as The Frog takes you on a terrifying journey.
