PD Kim Jung Min elaborates how the series would take a different flavor in the sea of revenge dramas involving high society.
“I wanted to show the difference since it is made by Netflix. Keeping the genre-specific narrative but adjusting the intensity, it captures various human desires intertwined to people seeking the help of an upper-class marriage information company.”
A Stellar Cast For a Stimulating Narrative
In the released teaser poster and trailer, various characters who have jumped into “the upper-class marriage business that trades desires” attract attention.
The people who gather at Rex, the fictional marriage match-making company, want to seek revenge and climb to the top. Thus, they aspire to a marriage where conditions are the top priority.
Concealed in their elegant and glamorous looks are hidden greed and desires.
Rex’s representative Choi Yu-sun (Cha Ji Yeon) proudly says: “Money is power and attracts the best men and women.”
Meanwhile, Seo Hye-seung (Kim Hee Sun), schemes revenge toward Jin Yu-hee (Jung Yu Jin) who ruined her life. She declares bringing her down at her happiest moment.
Responding to a curious stare, Yu-hee and Hye-seung draw attention to how their story unfolds.
Positioned at the back of the poster, Lee Hyung-joo (Lee Hyun Wook) and Cha Seok-jin (Park Hoon) piquie interest in the roles they will play in Remarriage and Desires.
