Rookie Cops releases a trailer along with a poster featuring a beaming young cast!
Scheduled to be released in the first half of 2022, Rookie Cops, a Disney+ original series, features an energetic police college campus life starring Kang Daniel and Chae Soo Bin. The original series is written by Lee Ha Na, and directed by Kim Byung-soo who is known for his other works: He is Psychometric, The Bride of Habaek, & Nine.
Together with Kang Daniel and Chae Soo Bin, Lee Shin Young, Park Yoo Na, Park Sung Joon, Min Do Hee, Kim Woo Seok, Chun Young Min would also be joining the set cast. Kim Sang Ho, Son Chang Min, Lee Moon Sik, Seo Yi Sook, Jeong Young Joo, and Ji Su Won complete the powerful lineup of the series. Fresh young actors and actresses together with veterans in acting are expected to show an exciting synergy in the series.
Rookie Cops has released its first poster along with a trailer exhibiting the youthful energy of the cast. Exciting and fresh energy from the youth may be felt in the first poster as the cast, with all smiles, sat leaning on each other.
Led by Wi Seung Hyeon (Kang Daniel) and Go Eun Kang (Chae Soo Bin), a group of eight freshmen from the Police University take a step towards their dreams. A phrase from the poster raises anticipation as it reads “The real class of young people without answers begins”. The series shall focus on the youth who is at the starting point of their lives and is on their way towards their goal while in the period of growth.
Meet the Freshmen in the Police University
Kang Daniel takes on the role of Wi Seung Hyeon, who has a strong sense of justice. He does not tolerate any injustice he witnesses. His chemistry with Chae Soo Bin is anticipated as she takes on the role of Go Eun Kang. She is a problematic freshman with a straightforward instinct.
Lee Shin Young plays Kim Tak, a freshman from the national youth judo team while Park Yoo Na portrays Ki Han Na, a freshman who does not miss the first place.
Park Sung Joon is set to play as Yoo Dae Il, and Min Do Hee transforms into a freshman from a science high school named Woo Joo Young, who dreams of becoming a scientific investigator.
A new student named Seo Beom Joo with unexpected dance skills will be portrayed by Kim Woo Seok. Ulzzang and social butterfly Shin Ah Ri will be played by Chun Young Min shall complete the youthful campus story.
