KBS2 TV’s new midweek drama, School 2021, has dropped character posters of its main leads.
School 2021 threads on the lives of 18-year-old students going on a different route from the usual university entrance examination. Chasing dreams, forming friendships and embarking on a challenging journey, these teenagers stand on ambiguous grounds.
It also foreshadows the perfect synergy across generations of brilliant young and seasoned actors. In addition, a sweet romance is also anticipated between the lead pair.
Raising more interest, the teasers released today give quick overviews of what to expect in the vibrant youth characters of School 2021.
Rediscovering and Achieving Dreams
First, Kim Yo Han as Gong Ki-joon appears in a pensive mood. He had to quit Taekwondo, which had been a dream for 11 years due to an injury. Will Ki-joon find a new passion that would bring back life in his forlorn-looking eyes?
Cho Yi Hyun, who plays Jin Ji-won, is fixed on a clear dream of becoming a carpenter. On the poster, she is seen smiling with clenched fists, creating a lively atmosphere. Her infectious energy will channel curiosity to her devotion to woodwork artistry.
Next, Chu Young Woo, portraying transfer student Jung Young-joo is shrouded with quite a few rumors complementing his sharp-looking gaze. The phrase ‘I don’t want to die’ amplifies the curiosity about his cool and defensive character.
Lastly, Hwang Boreumbyul realistically suits the character Kang Seo-young. With her firm and ambitious eyes, she exemplifies an extraordinary will of an aspiring college education. Will she be able to meet the second act of her life by going to college?
