Actor Kim Yo Han (Gong Ki Joon) transforms into a hardworking student who lost his 11-year of pursuing taekwondo because of an injury. Because of the scars that left his heart, he doesn’t know what step he should take next.
Playing as Jin Ji Won, Cho Yi Hyun became a high-spirited teenager who is passionate about her dreams. Next, actress Hwang Bo Reum Byeol portrays Kang Seo Young, an intelligent student that showcases her independence by preparing for the exam by herself.

Furthermore, Ji Ho Sung (Kim Kang Min) adds sincerity and a positive atmosphere to the series.
Lastly, Soe Hee Sun expresses Go Eun Bi’s cold and arrogant character. She’s also an idol trainee who forms a love and hatred relationship with Kang Seo Young.
What the casts hopes for School 2021
Taking the lead role, Kim Yo Han describes his character, “Gong Ki Joon is a person who loses his dream in a moment and wanders. But he tries hard to live his life without losing his dream.”
“I hope that School 2021, which tells the story of children in their respective growth periods, will be a place of empathy and hope,” he added.
On the other hand, Cho Yi Hyun shares what the audience should expect. “The story of the growth of students who chose a different path because they thought of their dreams before the entrance exam is the strength of School 2021,” the actress shares.

Choo Young Woo also added, “There are stories of students, but there are many incidents that happen outside of school.”
He continued, “The history of Yeongju and the stories of school teachers are likely to be fully sympathized.”
Furthermore, Hwang Bo Reum reveals what School 2021 added to their story. She stated, “School 2021 covers not only the bromance of boyfriends shown in School 2013. But also the chemistry among girlfriends, so it would be nice if you focus on that part.”

The rising actor Kim Kang Min and rookie actress Seo Hee Seon gave affectionate messages. “I will work hard with the director, many staff, and actors.”
“I’ll do my best to show you a character that viewers can feel a real sense of empathy, so please love me a lot,” adding passion to the drama.
The upcoming Wednesday-Thursday series School 2021 starts its classes this November.
