Locked in a curious and heart-fluttering gaze; Kim Jung Hyun carries Im Soo Hyang in the latest teasers of Kokdu: Season of Deity.
Kokdu: Season of Deity chronicles the story of Kokdu (Kim Jung Hyun), the “god of death” who comes down to the earth every 99 years to punish humans. He meets Han Gye Jeol (Im Soo Hyang) a doctor with mysterious abilities.
Aligned with previously released teasers, the new photos shared feature the lead pair in a romantic mood. Kokdu holds Gye-jeol in his arms when she almost fell down the stairs in the background of cherry blossoms in bloom.
Little did they know, that a fate they never imagined comes to them.
At that moment, time stops, and only their heartbeats can be heard. Gye-jeol feels excited. However, Kokdu remains emotionless with an unfathomable expression.
Nevertheless, that situation where Kokdu, the god of the underworld who kills people rather than saving them, helps Gye-jeol, arouses irony and curiosity.
Kokdu: Season of Deity premieres on January 27, 9:50 Pm on MBC.
