Set in the Joseon dynasty, Secret Royal Inspector Joy is a comedic, historical period drama that centers around an intelligent but lazy secret agent played by Ok Taecyeon, and a woman, played by Kim Hye Yoon, whose beliefs are way ahead of her times and she seeks to get out of her unhappy marriage to search for her happiness.

In the drama, Ok Taecyeon plays the role of Ra Yi-Eon, who desires in opening a dumpling store in the capital. Fortunately, he passes the examination in the Office of Special Advisors because of his intelligence. By this, he started accepting secret missions and orders as a secret royal inspector.
Meanwhile, his partner Kim Jo-Yi (Kim Hye Yoon), believes that women shouldn’t suffer in a marriage that why she supports divorce. Moreover, Jo-Yi is a vigorous woman with a visionary mind ahead of her time.
In the latest video teaser, Yi-Eon and Jo-Yi are accompanied by Yook-Chil (Min Jin Woong) along with Goo-Pal (Park Kang Sub), wherein the four of them are walking during night time when suddenly a man appeared.
