TVING’s new fantasy Korean web series opens its doors to its customers in July!
Song Ji Hyo will play the role of Witch Hee-ra who runs a restaurant that sells wishes with a price. Along with her is Nam Ji Hyun as Manager Jin and Chae Jong Hyeop as part-timer Gil-Yong.
A full-time member of the popular variety show Running Man, Song Ji Hyo last worked on heartening romance drama, Was it Love?
Meanwhile, Nam Ji Hyun marks her first time in a web series. Often commended on her acting skills, her notable works include 365: Repeat the Year, 100 Days my Prince, Shopaholic Louis and Suspicious Partner.
Completing the team is rising actor Chae Jong Hyeop who worked on dramas Sisyphus: The Myth and Stove League previously.
Welcome to the Witch’s Restaurant
The new drama’s plot centers on a Witch (Hee-ra) who makes soul food but requires a cost.
Having their hopes up, desperate people who want to get their personal wishes to come true come goes to this restaurant to eat a magical dish even though their own souls should be exchanged.
Witch Hee-ra is said to be living a thousand years and considered herself as one of the oldest humans in history.
After an ill fate in her twenties, Nee-Ra just chooses to be a sorceress instead and runs her restaurant with a mysterious woman named Partner Jin (Nam Ji Hyun).
In the teaser photos, we can see the welcome signage “The Witch’s Restaurant” that pertains to the entrance of the magical restaurant. along with the looks of the main characters.
With full excitement, stories of different people will unfold along with the narrative of the main characters’ on how they got into their present situation.
The drama will also depict how humans will give everything they got just to be granted a wish.
For sure the new show will be full of risks and a magical atmosphere that will totally crawl into our hearts.
