Another K-drama is going to make our Saturdays extra romantic as Nevertheless premieres on June 19!
Nevertheless unveiled another individual poster for its two main leads — Song Kang and Han So Hee!
Based on the popular Naver webtoon of the same name, Nevertheless depicts the hyperreal romance between Park Jae Eon (Song Kang), a man who finds love annoying but likes casual flirting, and Yu Nabi (Han So Hee), a woman who wants to fall in love even though she doesn’t believe the idea.
Meet the newest couple in K-drama land
Sweet yet bewildering, the journey of the two young individuals going through the process of love, is a story that everyone — with the same struggles — can relate to.
Also, the drama is expected to provide a different thrill and meaningful insights — something that viewers can look forward to.
Particularly, the strong chemistry between the two rising young actors Song Kang and Han So Hee raises the expectations of the public.
Capturing the attention of viewers, Song Kang and Han So Hee display their fresh smiles as they pose for the drama poster.
In the released poster, the actor spurs excitement as he seemingly responds to Yu Nabi’s pat in the head with his playful smile. The phrase “Is dating really necessary?” signifies Park Jae Eon’s mixed feelings about being in a relationship.
As a man who does not give his heart to anyone, yet considered as everyone’s lover, questions on how he will change the moment he meets Yu Nabi, arise.
Meanwhile, Han So Hee bares her modest smile as Park Jae Eon pokes her cheek. While the poster reads, “This man, is harmful to the heart,” it also seems to express Yu Nabi’s innermost thoughts as she helplessly falls in love with Park Jae Eon.
The production team said, “You can look forward to seeing the relationship between the two youths, that began with an intense attraction to each other. Please anticipate Song Kang and Han So Hee’s synergy as they portray the complex emotional changes in love.”
Meanwhile, JTBC’s new Saturday special drama Nevertheless will premiere on June 19 at 11 PM KST. It will be broadcast once a week with a total of 10 episodes.
Global fans can stream it on Netflix on June 20.
