Uniquely drawing an interesting legal drama, the cameras are ready to capture Weird Lawyer Woo Young-woo.
The new series by ENA Channel and Netflix is directed by Yoo In-sik (Dr. Romantic, Vagabond) and penned by Moon Ji-won.
Rounding up the main cast are Jeon Bae Soo, Baek Ji Won, Jin Kyung, Joo Hyun Young, Ha Yun Kyung, Joo Jong Hyuk, and Lim Sung Jae.
Portraying the titular role in Strange Lawyer Woo Young-woo is the talented actress Park Eun Bin. As Woo Young-woo, she portrays a new lawyer at a big law firm company with an IQ of 164.
She has an eidetic memory. However, her genius brain also falls on the autism spectrum. Thus, she lacks social skills and empathy.
Nevertheless, she grows into a true lawyer by solving various cases. She is courageous in overcoming limitations as she solves problems by looking at the case from a new perspective.
The series warmly and pleasantly solves the challenge of Woo Young-woo, who confronts the prejudice and absurdity of the world from a slightly different point of view.
Meet the Male Leads
Next, versatile actor, Kang Tae Oh takes on the role of Lee Jun-ho, an employee at a law firm. He is the perfect man who is popular everywhere with his warm looks and friendly personality. He assists with various litigation-related tasks and secures additional evidence at the scene of the incident.
Meanwhile, Kang Ki Young suits up as the character Jung Myung-suk, a senior lawyer at the law firm. His passion for his career enabled him to become a senior lawyer fast.
With a strong sense of pride in his work, Woo Young-woo, a new lawyer with a special mindset, is entrusted to him. Kang Ki-young’s acting, which melts his own color in any role, is expected to double the charm of Jung Myung-suk.
In particular, the mentor-mentee chemistry that will be drawn with Park Eun-bin, who plays Woo Young-woo, is another point to watch.
Character actors Jeon Bae-soo, Baek Ji-won, and Jin-kyung, are set to further bolster the cast lineup.
