Cho Seung Woo and Bae Doona Look Peerless In “Stranger 2” Main Poster

August will be more exciting for K-Drama fans when Stranger 2 premieres!

Yay! for this great news! Our favorite apathetic prosecutor and lively detective are back for remarkable legal and crime drama in Stranger 2. Honestly though, I am holding my excitement in, because there will be a change in the director. So, I am praying the same mood will be enforced on its second season because I really loved the first installment.

Stranger 2 includes reprisal of roles for Cho Seung Woo, Bae Doo Na, Lee Joon Hyuk, Yoon Se Ah, Park Sung Geun, Jeon Bae Soo and Song Ji Ho. Actors Jeon Hye Jin, Choi Moo Sung, Kim Young Jae and Lee Hae Young join the season 2 cast as well. On July 5, a quick video teaser highlighting Cho’s character was also unveiled.

In the revealed poster of tvN on July 9, the main characters are presented distinctively. First, Cho Seung Woo, who created unprecedented character Hwang Si Mok, gives a sharp gaze matching his recluse and apathetic character. His lively partner Han Yeo Jin, portrayed by Bae Doo Na looks dauntless as well.

Praised for their synergy three years ago, the lead characters aim to replicate the success of the first season. Also returning as prominent prosecutor Seo Dong Jae, who struggles on choices between success and conscience, is talented actor Lee Joon Hyuk.

Taking the role of the new head of Hanjo group is actress Yoon Se Ah. Joining as new cast members are Jeon Hye Jin (Search: WWW) and Choi Moo Sung. The unveiled poster featuring the six characters of Stranger 2 evokes an intriguing aura for the strong gazes and misty picture.

Billed to tackle the prosecution and police intentions to have autonomous investigation within their organization, Stranger 2 targets a well-made drama this summer.

Stranger 2 is set to premiere in August via tvN.
