Netflix just revealed a thrilling and creepy trailer of Sweet Home! And it definitely grips attention!
Ahead of its premiere on December 18, Sweet Home dauntlessly dropped a teaser of what to expect in the series.
Adapted from a popular webtoon of the same name, Sweet Home is a 10-episode VFX/SFX filled thriller. It takes a riveting route based on the unique premise of a world where people turn into monsters that reflect their own individual desires.
After losing his family, reclusive high school student Cha Hyeon Su moves into a new apartment called Green Home, where he faces bizarre and shocking circumstances. He confronts a series of life changing situations that brings him out to the world to save others.
Previously, Netflix unveiled a quick look at the apartment where the hero of the story moved into. In the new released trailer, Cha Hyeon-su is further introduced as an unlikely hero. As people transform to their monstrous selves, he valiantly becomes the strongest weapon to thwart the horrible creatures.
Esteemed K-drama director Lee Eung-bok (Mr. Sunshine, Goblin: The Lonely and Great God, Descendants of the Sun) is at the helm of the production. It will be produced by Studio Dragon, co-produced by Studio N, and written by Hong So-ri, Kim Hyung-min and Park So-jeong.
Sweet Home Cast
Additionally, the other main characters were also introduced. Each Green Home character has a different occupation and personality. Lee Jin Wook (Voice 2) portrays the mysterious Sang-wook while former firefighter Yi-kyung will be played by Lee Si Young (The Guardians).
Rising actor Lee Do Hyun takes the role of student Eun-hyeok while his sister Eun-yu will be portrayed by Go Min Si.
Rounding up the cast are language teacher Jae-heon, aspiring musician Ji-su (Park Kyu-young), and caregiver Yu-ri (Go Youn-jung), They will fight for survival at Green Home.
