“Taxi Driver 2” Teases Fans With The Return Of Well-Loved Scene Stealer

Probably one of K-Dramaland’s overwhelmingly rooted adorable love pairings is that of Kim Do-ki and Mrs. Lim in Taxi Driver.

Previously, in an interview, Lee Je Hoon hinted at his character Do-ki’s reunion with Mrs. Lim and SBS sure knows how to whet viewers waiting for Taxi Driver 2.

Taxi Driver 2 continues the journey of a team of employees in a deluxe taxi company that helps exploited victims seek revenge on their offenders.

Reprising their roles; Lee Je Hoon, Kim Ui Seong, Pyo Ye Jin, Jang Hyuk Jin and Bae Yoo Ram return as Rainbow Taxi Revenge Service team.

Meanwhile, Shim So-young played the role of Mrs. Lim, the head of a voice phishing fraud organization during Season 1. She played an active role as a unique scene stealer due to her hooking love line with Do-ki.

In Season 1, Do-ki used a romance fishing strategy by transforming into an amusing character called Wang Tao Zi, who punishes scams with an “an eye for an eye and fraud for fraud” mantra.

In the released stills, there is a picture of Mrs. Lim leading the gang in the middle of Vietnam’s Chinatown. Still, her unique visuals and strong heroine force command attention.

Interest is high in what story Mrs. Lim made to appear in season 2, and whether she will reunite with Kim Do-ki, who gave her excitement and betrayal at the same time in season 1.

Expected to return with upgraded design and fantastic teamwork, Taxi Driver 2 premieres on February 17 on SBS!  International fans can watch it on KOCOWA and Viu.
