Yoo Seung Ho makes his comeback drama with The Deal, a 10-billion-won kidnapping thriller about two young men who accidentally abducted their friend.
The series follows the interesting premise of yesterday’s friend, today’s hostage, and tomorrow’s accomplice.
“The Deal” Drops Intriguing Teasers Featuring Yoo Seung Ho, Kim Dong Hwi and Yoo Su Bin
Previously, two types of posters were released, the pictures draw attention by showing the kidnapping situation of three friends that occurred due to a momentary choice.
In the series, Yoo Seung Ho plays the role of Jun-sung, the center of the 10 billion kidnapping drama, playing a youth who makes an irreversible choice at the edge of life and has to pay the price for it.
Jun-sung’s Choice
Jun-sung is a character who pledges to start a new life after being discharged from the military but also experiences intense emotional changes and agony as he is caught up in an accidental kidnapping.
Describing his latest drama character, Yoo shares how Jun-sung is a raw character who is very different from the roles he has played so far.
“When he gets angry, he shows the wrinkles and blood vessels on his face as they are.”
Director Lee Jung-gon, who is in charge of the project shared that Yoo Seung Ho naturally came to his mind for the role of Jun-sung. “As the episode progresses, viewers will pay attention to Jun-sung’s choices and actions,” he added.
Meanwhile, The Deal, which was invited to the On-Screen section of the Busan International Film Festival, Asia’s largest film festival, is attracting attention as the most anticipated web series in the second half of 2023.
The Deal will be released exclusively through Wavve on Friday, October 6.
