tvN’s new mystery drama The Devil Judge released the first stills of the hottest star judge, Ji Sung.
The Devil Judge officially announced that the drama broadcasts for the first time on July 3. Giving a quick peek to fans, the series released teaser photos of the lead character, Ji Sung.
Headed by Director Choi Jung Kyu, who directed numerous mystery dramas, The Devil Judge expects to add more depth to the series. He is known for Children of Nobody, Flower of the Prison, and Two Weeks. Teaming up with Choi Jung Kyu is Moon Yoo Seok (Miss Hammurabi), who is a judge and a screenwriter.
The drama takes place in a fictional dystopian world in the Republic of South Korea. Kang Yo Han (Ji Sung) is a “devil judge” that leads the courtroom show. He is the hero and the “demon” who wears the mask of justice and law.
In an interview, tvN stated that “The devil judge, who appeared in the age of chaos, is the hero of everyone, or the masked demon of the court.”
Also known as the “Tragic Heir of the Great Lakes,” the star judge shows elegance and chaos. Kang Yo Han fairly punishes those who broke the law but executes a “demonic” way of dealing with the true devils.
In the stills, Ji Sung shows an elegant and bold appearance. Creating contrast another photo shows him looking neat and kind. Lastly, holding a glass of champagne, Ji Sung evokes a mysterious aura.
Meet the other star characters:
Adding up with the lead role are Kim Min Jung and Park Jin Young.
Kim Min Jung plays Jung Sun Ah. She previously portrayed one of the main characters in the dramas Mr. Sunshine and Gap Dong.
Following, Park Jin Young (Kim Ga On) is part of the K-Pop group Got7 and was part of Legend Of The Blue Sea and Dream High 2.
Mystery drama The Devil Judge unveils on July 3 every Saturday and Sunday at 9 PM KST via tvN.
