Armed with a supernatural edge, The Judge From Hell debuts on Disney+ this September 21. This 14-episode series follows Bitna, a judge possessed by a demon sent to Earth on a sinister mission.
In “The Judge From Hell,” a demon is tasked with bringing souls back to hell and chooses to possess Bitna, a local judge notorious for her lenient sentencing. Unbeknownst to the public, Bitna’s controversial rulings are driven by her demonic mission to drag ten criminals back to the underworld.
However, the plot thickens when Bitna begins to develop feelings for Daon, a detective played by Kim Jaeyeong. As Bitna wrestles with her growing emotions, the series poses a tantalizing question: Will the demon complete its mission, or will love alter its course?
The show features Park Shinhye, known for her roles in Doctor Slump and Sisyphus: The Myth, as the possessed judge Bitna, and Kim Jaeyeong, recognized for Love in Contract and Reflection of You, as Detective Daon. The Judge From Hell is penned by Jo Isu, the writer behind The Hymn of Death, and directed by Park Jinpyo, known for his work on Brave Citizen and Love Forecast.
