Lee Kwang Soo, Seolhyun and Jin Hee Kyung embark on a journey as neighborhood “supermarket heroes” in The Killer’s Shopping List!
Positioned to premiere on tvN’s midweek slot, the series airs its first episode on April 27. In this new drama, a mart manager, a cashier and a police officer find out a significant clue through a receipt that relates to a mysterious murder case in an ordinary neighborhood.
Presenting the main poster of the lead characters, the comic vibe evidently flows on their journey to unravel a murder case.
Effortlessly, Lee Kwang Soo incites laughter with his bewildered expression while riding a shopping cart. He plays the role of Ahn Dae-sung, a smart cashier of a local mart.
In an interview, Lee describes his role as a rare young man who has a lot of interest and affection as a mart worker. He knows who the villagers are even what they do and their family relationships.
Similarly, Seolhyun who plays Do Ah-hee appears struggling to find evidence from the long list of items in the receipt. She demonstrates cleverness and passion as a local cop guarding the neighborhood.
Lastly, Jin Hee Kyung portrays Jung Myung-suk, the super boss who protects her family. She tilts her head as if she does not know the secret of the receipt. Their contrasting expressions prelude to a tricky and comical investigation.
The Killer’s Shopping List is directed by Lee Eon Hee of films Missing and The Accidental Detective 2 In Action. Penning the script is writer Han Ji Wan who previously worked on Wanted and The Ghost Detective.
The series will be broadcast for the first time at 10:30 pm on April 27, following Kill Heel.
