KBS2 TV unveils SF9 Rowoon and Park Eun Bin’s unparalleled chemistry in recent teasers and photo stills of The King’s Affection.
Set for unveiling on October 11, KBS2’s upcoming Monday and Tuesday drama, The King’s Affection, raises expectations and interest. SF9’s Rowoon and Park Eun Bin are paired to portray a refreshing historical romance drama and perform unique characters.
Raised to become the next crown prince, Lee Hwi (Park Eun Bin) hides her identity inside the palace. As Lee Hwi distances herself from others, feelings start to form when she intertwines with her teacher, Jung Ji Woon (Rowoon).
Recently, KBS unveils the series’s first intriguing video teaser. Park Eun Bin happily runs inside the palace’s corridor while wearing a lovely hanbok.
However, as she passed a mirror, she transformed and wore a red hongryongpo. She then bumped into Rowoon and looked at each other deeply. Another video shows the lead pair in a royal lesson where Rowoon sees the reflection of Prince Hwi to be of a beautiful woman.
Furthermore, The King’s Affection dropped its official poster and photo stills. On the poster, the two actors affectionately pose while looking at each other.
They wore vibrant shades of traditional clothing, while the flowers in the background made the atmosphere refreshingly romantic. Park Eun Bin reaches her hand on Rowoon’s face while he “removes” the hongryongpo.
Next, a few photo stills show the comical chemistry inside the palace between the two. Rowoon passionately teaches Eun Bin while holding a book and pointing to her book.
Besides the released posters and photo stills, a second teaser of the series made the audience anticipate it more. The recent teaser focuses on Rowoon as he started to “see” Eun Bi as a girl.
He then woke up from his imaginations when Eun Bi shouted and scolded him. Also, the teaser gives a glimpse of the romance and chemistry the two will unfold.
The production team also said that there will be “heart fluttering moments” of the two. “Please look forward to the chemistry between Park Eun Bin and Rowoon, which will make all the viewers smile,” they added.
The King’s Affection starts to make hearts smile, starting on October 11 at 9:20 PM on KBS2. Global fans can watch it on Netflix.
