JTBC’s The One and Only releases a teaser foreshadowing the three women’s final wish, which will premiere this December!
The One and Only follows the story of three women as they meet at a hospice. Prior to their deaths, they scheme to kill one bad person. In the process, they meet that one precious person in the waning moments of their lives.
Moon Jung-min, who authored Matrimonial Chaos, is penning the script. Meanwhile, director Oh Hyun-jong, who worked on Weighlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo and Two Cops, is spearheading the production.
Additionally, Ahn Eun Jin, Kim Kyung Nam, Park Sooyoung, and Kang Ye Won star in this series. It announces the beginning of the community of fate and dives deep into the narrative’s center through an unexpected series of events.
A Glimpse Of The One and Only
At the beginning of the teaser, Pyo In-suk (Ahn Eun Jin), Kang Se-yeon (Kang Ye Won), and Seong Mi-do (Park Sooyoung), who playfully came to the beach.
Afterwards, they smile brightly against a backdrop of a glistening sea in the warm sunlight. Mido consequently records every moment, and Insook and Seyeon on the screen are enjoying the moment of happiness.
Evidently, they exhibit wonderful chemistry, which can be felt simply by looking at the teaser. It garners attention to their story, which will be revealed earnestly.
Posing the question of how three people who look different in age, personality, and occupation come to be together, drew the watchpoint of the series.
This may be observed in Insook’s narration, where those who never had a “place,” never became “people,” and never became “we” in the face of death, become “we.”
Along with this, they were all sentenced to death, much like flames on the verge of being extinguished.
In the process, the story of these three women who blossom into sweet yet wounded women is predicted to become a focal point of The One and Only.
Moreover, the production team urges viewers to look forward to the three women’s miraculous journey upon its grand launch.

The One and Only is set to premiere for the first time on JTBC at 11:00 pm on December 20th.
