Nam Ji Hyun is set to make another bold mark in the historical drama arena with her latest project, To My Beloved Thief.
KBS2’s upcoming weekend miniseries, To My Beloved Thief, premiering January 3, 2026, tells the sweeping, high-stakes love story between a woman who unexpectedly becomes the most notorious thief in the kingdom and the crown prince determined to catch her. When their souls suddenly swap, the two find themselves saving each other—and ultimately, their nation.
Nam Ji Hyun transforms into Hong Eun-jo, a noble-born woman raised among commoners who works as a compassionate physician by day and secretly turns into the legendary thief Gil-dong by night. Fierce yet warm-hearted, Eun-jo defies powerful forces and becomes a guardian angel to the weak—embodying the timeless paradox of strength wrapped in gentleness.
Her double life takes a dramatic turn when she crosses paths with Prince Dowol, Lee Yeol (played by Moon Sang-min), who has been chasing the elusive Gil-dong. Their fated encounter sets the stage for a romance that threatens to steal not only the people’s hearts, but the prince’s as well.
Newly released stills highlight Eun-jo’s striking duality—a healer with a radiant smile by daylight, and a determined, masked vigilante after dark. Another image shows her in a luxurious silk robe, exuding the grace of a noblewoman and raising questions about how she came to live as the kingdom’s most righteous thief.
Nam Ji Hyun, long regarded as a “guaranteed hit” in historical dramas, brings her trademark emotional depth and grounded performance to the role. As Hong Eun-jo—gentle as silk, yet unbreakable at her core—she is poised to capture viewers’ hearts once again.
