tvN makes a drama poster offer we don’t dare refuse – featuring Song Joong Ki suiting up to his Vincenzo character!
Set to portray a mafia consigliere, the actor oozes with dark charisma inciting anticipation to what kind of portrayal he is set to make for his drama comeback.
One of the most eagerly-awaited 2021 Korean dramas, Vincenzo describes the story of an Italian mafia lawyer who came to Korea to settle an arduous case.
He is a brutal strategist and lawyer of a mafia organization. Contrary to his sweet-looking visuals, he is quite a character, equipped with sharp negotiating skills and sound judgment to grasp his opponents.
In the poster released today, Song Joong Ki parades his character, Vincenzo. Looking cold yet dignified, his aura emanates power and merciless demeanor.
Captioned with the text “evil is punished with evil”, his declaration of war to confront opponents with ill intentions adds expectations to the fierce game set to unfold in the series.
Previously, a teaser video was also unveiled hinting the enthralling mind game the actor commits to vaunt in the highly-anticipated series.
February Premiere
Fueled by a stellar cast, Vincenzo also features Ok Taecyeon, Jeon Yeo Bin, Yoo Jae Myung, Kim Yeo Jin, Kwak Dong Yeon and Jo Han Cheol in the series.
Aside from its solid main cast, Vincenzo is set to be helmed by Director Kim Hee Won. Her recent lauded works include The Crowned Clown and Money Flower.
Penning the script is Park Jae Bum of The Fiery Priest and Good Manager fame. Screenwriter Park has created such a unique trademark in the black comedy genre and is expected to notch a society-focused black comedy with plethora of dimensions.
tvN’s new Saturday and Sunday drama Vincenzo will be aired for the first time on February 20 at 9:00 PM KST.
