Park Jihoon enthralls with his latest character transformation in Weak Hero!
In the drama, he portrays Yeon Si-eun, the smartest in the school who fights against numerous violence. He is not interested in anything other than studying. With that, he uses his intelligence and keen observation to strategically fight violence and become a weak hero.
Together with Su-ho and Beom-seok, they became friends and foretell the strong action growth of a weak boy who emerges as a champion of justice.
Describing Si-eun, Park shared interesting points about his latest role.
“He is a person who is calm and focused in every situation. and lives in his own style in a jungle-like school. Si-eun never learned to fight. Because of that, he uses his head to strategize, and uses objects and tools rather than his body.”

In the second preview video released, there was a scene in which he used a flowerpot in the vicinity to determine how many left and right opponents were and to subdue them.
Subsequently, in the released stills of Park’s character today, you can see how Si-eun survives the school using these various tools.
Things that are commonly seen around him are held in his hands, and the anger emanating from his cold face maximizes the tension.
Si-eun, who has been living in school as a voluntary outsider, without being shaken by any motivation and just keeping his grades in the top 1%, aims to grow stronger in Weak Hero.
For this reason, Park Jihoon took on his first action genre challenge by showing Si-eun’s dauntless demeanor with extraordinary determination. He also reveals his preparation for the action scenes.
“I went to action school a few months before filming started, and I learned a lot, such as matching the martial arts director and martial arts team seniors. I tried to do it as naturally as possible. Rehearsing a lot is the know-how of action acting. It is not a standardized fight that has been seen in academy action movies, but a new action performance created based on life tools.”
Wavve affirms the preparations of the actor would be visible in Weak Hero.
