JTBC’s upcoming weekend workplace drama drops a teaser poster adding to the excitement of awaiting viewers!
Forecasting Love and Weather (WT) flows to the narrative of exploring the working life of individuals at Korea’s Meteorological Administration.
Just like its workplace setting, the drama aims to depict the life and love stories of the people like the steamy tropical night and unpredictable local heavy rain.
Interestingly, while weather forecasting is closely connected to our daily lives, it has not been covered fully yet in K-Dramaland. Thus, expectations soar high for this latest offering from JTBC.
Following the recent teaser videos of heart-fluttering moments between the love pair. Park Min Young and Song Kang are highlighted in the released poster today.
Love Forecast at Korea Meteorological Administration
Jin Ha-kyung (Park Min Young), the general forecaster of Division 2 of the Korea Meteorological Administration, and Lee Si-woo (Song Kang), the special advisor, have different characters. Comparing them to the weather, the two would meet less likely to cause unusual atmospheric conditions.
While Ha-kyung resembles Siberian air mass formed by the accumulation of cold air, Si-woo is spontaneously passionate like the North Pacific air masses.
Their story previews predicting weather fiercely while falling in love ardently in the process. On that note, in the teaser poster, Ha-kyung and Si-woo who are sitting at a distance in a tavern look at each other.
It usually rains when cold air meets hot air. Therefore, it is possible to foretell that a love forecast will befall between the two. However, seeing the text copy: “It’s a big deal, I keep getting better at you” – further excites as to how the love journey unfolds between them.
Moreover, the production invites viewers to anticipate the romance while explaining the released poster contains the dark emotions of how the lead actors create a romantic narrative with just eye contact.
Forecasting Love and Weather is a collaboration among director Cha Young Hoon of When the Camellia Blooms, writer Seon Yeong, and creator Kang Eun Kyung of The World of the Married and Misty fame. The series premieres in February 2022 on JTBC.
