Captured moments of the characters to be portrayed by Ji Chang Wook and Shin Hye Sun are featured in the latest teaser of Welcome To Samdalri.
Welcome to Samdalri (웰컴투 삼달리) traverses the long connection shared by Jo Yong-pil (Ji Chang Wook) and Jo Sam-dal (Shin Hye Sun).
In relation to this, the released poster stimulates emotions by depicting the long history of friendship shared by Yong-pil and Sam-dal. They were born in Jeju, five minutes apart on the same day.
From then on, they attended the same school from elementary to college. The Polaroid photos look into the history of the close friends. They also share smiles and affection with each other’s families.
However, their inseparable connection came to a pause. Yong-pil decides to stay in their hometown but Sam-dal pursues a new life in Seoul.
Still, the emotions and memories shared over the past 30 years cannot be easily ignored. The two friends reunite when Sam-dal returns to their hometown.
Prospective viewers are curious about what kind of history and memories will be contained in each Polaroid photo, and what kind of ‘grieving and heartbreaking’ history they will write in the future.
Previously, the first teaser video was also shared along with the premiere announcement on December 2.
Sam-dal is seen returning to her hometown. Since she was young, her goal was to leave the island and go to the mainland. When she finally achieved that dream, she made up her mind that she would never return to Gaecheon again.
The fact that she returned would mean that something bad happened to her and she had no choice. Maybe that’s why Sam-dal, who is busy avoiding people, wants to hide her forced comeback, which she didn’t mean to do.
