Joining the crime thriller trend this season as the newest hero is Yoon Kye Sang.
He is set to appear in the psychological tracking thriller, Crime Puzzle.
Based on a popular webtoon of the same name, Crime Puzzle tells the story of a criminal psychologist locked in prison after murdering a leading politician and a profiler who lost her father and later conducted an interview with the murderer.
Yoon Kye Sang plays Han Seung-min, a former criminal psychologist currently serving life imprisonment. He used to be a star professor at the Police University who quickly became world-class with his expertise in criminal psychology in his 20’s. He is an extremely harsh character for other violent criminals.
The actor plans to draw a three-dimensional character of Han Seung-min, who has a cynical charm. Accordingly, expectations are high with how Yoon transforms into his newest character.
Following the success of his film The Outlaws, his latest movie Spiritwalker also garners attention. It has been invited to the Panorama Fantastic Section of the 53rd SITGES International Fantastic Film Festival. For his latest project, he takes the role of a man who changes his body every 12 hours without retrieving his old memories. The mystery-action film is Yoon’s return to the action genre.
Crime Puzzle is produced by Studio 329 and is scheduled to be broadcast in the second half of this year.
