New teasers are up for Wavve original drama You Raise Me Up!
And it’s hard not to adore this new series tinged with meeting-your-first-love-years-later-again romance.
Starring Yoon Shi Yoon and Ahn Hee Yeon, it narrates the story of a man in his 30’s who reunites with his first love for an awkward medical treatment not fit for ex-lovers.
A couple of still cuts were released revealing the past and present of the main leads as well as the change in their relationship.
In the first set of photos, Yoon Shi Yoon and Ahn Hee Yeon are shown in their characters’ high school years. Then, the next set of photos unveiled their unexpected reunion since being former lovers.
Yoon who suits up to the role of Yong-sik proudly appeals his charm when they were young. But at present, he is hinted to be self-conscious with depleted confidence.
Meanwhile, Luda as Ahn Hee Yeon exudes a curious and cautious demeanor in her high school years while communicating Yong-sik. However, in the present time, she quietly and professionally assessed Yong-sik who seems to have lost all his motivations. The reversal heightens anticipation to the story.
The memories of the past shared by them and how they will work together to restore his health at present will be the drawing points of the series.
Inviting viewers to support the drama, the writer also hints at the key points of You Raise Me Up.
