Wavve’s original drama You Raise Me Up drops character stills of its lead stars who will complete the engaging romantic ride.
Starring Yoon Shi Yoon and Ahn Hee Yeon, it narrates the story of a man in his 30’s who reunites with his first love for an awkward medical treatment not fit for ex-lovers.
Previously, teasers of the love pairing were unveiled heightening anticipation to the series.
Now, the love triangle is presented in full swing along with quick character sketches.
First, Yoon Shi Yoon takes the role of Do Yong-sik, a public servant who lost all motivation amidst the harsh reality of life. At the age of 31, his life does not get any better as he confronts losing his remaining masculine pride.
After preparing for the civil service exam, he needs to consult medical help with a urologist. However, he encounters an awkward but desperate situation as the doctor he chances upon is his first love.
Yong-sik’s emotional growth period to stand tall both physically and mentally is expected to be the key point of the drama.
Transforming to a competent urologist and Dong-sik’s first love is Lee Lu-da, to be portrayed by Ahn Hee Yeon. Armed with intellectual charm, she is brave and beautiful but is not really happy inside.
That is because she is bored with her relationship with her boyfriend Do Ji-hyuk also dubbed as “big demon King”. Meeting her first love again gave her time to heal. She intends to show off her professional skills so as to restore her self-esteem.
Finally, Park Ki Woong suits up as Do Ji-hyuk, a psychiatrist with flawless visuals and perfect abilities. He is born rich and a medical practitioner who has built his own name. The problem is that he knows too well that he is great and he tends to flaunt it excessively.
Prioritizing his success, he neglects his lover Luda, but he shows interest when he learns she met with her first love who became her patient.
