Crash Episodes 5 and 6 Highlights

Team TCI links the auto theft case to a mysterious figure seen around the neighborhood of a hit-and-run victim. A collaborative investigation with a special unit at Namgang Police Station is initiated due to a series of rapes and murders. This brings So-hee back into contact with Tae-ju (Oh Eui Sik), whom she tries to avoid.

Yeon-ho continues his judo training with So-hee to enhance his physical ability for apprehending criminals. After receiving a peculiar phone call from a woman claiming her old car was stolen, Yeon-ho deduces that the thief targets women, stalking and eventually assaulting them.

Yeon-ho presents his theory connecting the car thefts and serial rapes to Tae-ju and the team, but his idea is dismissed.

His troubles escalate when a past case involving the death of a couple resurfaces on the office bulletin board. DNA results based on his theory that the car thief and the rapist are the same person further complicate his situation. However, an anomaly is later discovered in the initial DNA test results.

Team TCI continues their investigation into the car theft and gets a lead from a woman who reported her car stolen. Although she initially dismisses So-hee’s efforts, she later confesses to being sexually assaulted.

Determined to solve the case, Yeon-ho deduces that the car thief will target his last victim again since he failed to assault her previously.

So-hee confronts Tae-ju about not sharing the new DNA findings with the team. Collaborating with detectives from Namgang Police Station, they head to the location of the last victim while the HQ team takes a different route. Arriving early, Yeon-ho bravely drives to the victim’s house to intercept the culprit.

Using his new combat skills from So-hee, Yeon-ho chases and successfully captures the culprit.

Meanwhile, three friends connected to the same accident reunite. Kyung-soo strongly denies sending a cryptic news clip, but his reaction after his friends leave is suspicious.

Yeon-ho’s past haunts Pyo Myung-hak, Jung-wook’s father, who seems to be involved in the car accident Yeon-ho experienced. He meets with his son Jung-wook and his friend Jae-young, advising Jae-young to lay low. Unfortunately, Jae-young gets into a road rage incident, leading to a crash caused by his arrogance.
