Doctor Lawyer Episode 3 Highlights
In the opening week of Doctor Lawyer, we were introduced to genius surgeon Han Yi-han. His life is going smoothly until he was betrayed by the man he trusts with his life. Thereafter, he lost a dear patient and broke up with the girlfriend he intended to marry.
Determined to unearth the truth about the death of his last patient, he relents to accept his license getting revoked. But he vowed to redeem himself and make the people behind his pain pay for it.
“You made a promise that night. You said you will take responsibility for the aftermath of the surgery. You will uphold that promise.”
Leaving his old life behind, he studied and became a lawyer. He proceeds with his elaborate plan. The first step is making his old colleague, Ki-tae, confess to perjury. In exchange, he acts as his lawyer so he can keep his medical license and avert jail time.
Unfortunately, Ki-tae suffered the same predicament he had before. Making Gu Jin-gi aware of his return, he also declares his intention to claim what was promised to him.
Meanwhile, Banseok University Hospital continues its expansion and revolutionary advancement. Director Gu hosts a party announcing the achievements and presenting a robot-assisted surgery.
At the party, members of the board and primary investors gathered. Jayden Lee, a powerful businessman is among the guests. He reminds Director Gu to take care of the malpractice case.
“Just wait until I get out of here. I’m going to find that file.”
Equipping himself with solid evidence, Yi-han explained the cause of the young victim’s death is physical abuse from his father. That the defendant diagnosed the patient according to his symptoms.
The patient’s father chose not to disclose details that would have helped the doctor provide the proper treatment.
From the presented crucial evidence, Seok-young probed further and gets a confession from the nanny taking care of the Ho-jun.
Apologizing for her belated admittance, she explained how she didn’t have the courage for fear of no one would believe her since she is not a local. With the truth unveiled, Ki-tae’s acquittal is guaranteed.
However, Director Gu has also proceeded with his Plan B. Rushing to the detention center, Yi-han found Ki-tae’s lifeless body.
Doctor Lawyer Episode 3 Musings
Yi-han’s vengeance plan is shaping to be an arduous task based on the third episode of Doctor Lawyer.
He has to find a way to beat Director Gu’s cunning ways and evil manipulations. So far, the wicked villain is a few steps ahead of him.
Hopefully, Ki-tae’s recorded file would land on Yi-han’s hand. Also, reconnecting with Seok-young is not a bad idea considering they share the same pain in one way or another.
This episode also introduced the arresting Jayden Lee. Loaded with charm and intellect, he raises the dynamics of foreseen interactions among the characters.
