“No. You Still have contacts. Since a long time ago, you two have been connected with an invisible link.”
As requested by Mi-soo, Gong Soo-kwang returned and accepted a position in Geumhwa Hotel. She knows that ever since she met his family on the day she escaped, Soo-kwang and Seul-bi became connected.
When Seul-bi was still inside her womb, Mi-soo saw Soo-kwang’s future where he will be with her daughter. Now that Soo-kwang returns to Seul-bi’s side, the two finally reconcile and promise to fight alongside.
“Geumhwa Group is a castle built by witches. There are countless bad luck inside. Seul-bi wants to clear the bad luck, so she locked herself in the castle. To save Seul-bi, we must destroy Geumhwa’s castle completely.”
Furthermore, Mi-soo joins Soo-kwang in finding a way to break Seul-bi’s curse and end their bloodline of prophesying witches. The two reach out to Mi-soo’s aunt, Eun Ok-jin, and ask for her help again.
Since the Seon Family has the bloodline of prophesying witches in their possession, the bad luck that the witches blocked piled up. This explains why Seul-bi voluntarily returns to Geumhwa Group – to protect it and her loved ones.
In addition, Ok-jin also advised Mi-soo that their secrets should also finally be revealed to the public.
“The curse that falls on Chairman Seon Ju-cheol will be passed down to Min-joon… There’s no solution.”
The recent episodes also confirmed that Seon Joo-cheol doesn’t have a mental illness. Instead, he was cursed by the prophesying witch because of locking them from the world. Another reason why Seul-bi returns to Min-joon’s side is that she saw that the curse will be passed on to him and not to Sam-joong.
On the other hand, Mi-soo confessed to Sam-joong about this which motivated him to do something to prevent the curse from transferring to his son. With that, he also asked for Ok-jin’s help and suggested the only way to prevent it is to directly transfer the curse on a magical bracelet worn by the new host.
Despite knowing the consequences of this, Sam-joong decided to protect Min-joon and took the bracelet from Ok-jin. Without consulting anyone, Sam-joong immediately went to his father and transferred the curse to him.
“But the person who locked us up, and I hated the most was my dad.”
Prior to this, Mi-soo admitted to Seul-bi that Sam-joong is her real father. Seul-bi denies the truth but she felt that Sam-joong wants to change and pay for his shortcomings as a father.
As the curse finally controls Sam-joong, he cannot talk or move as he pleases. Nevertheless, Mi-soo and Seul-bi take care of him and showed that they already forgave what he did to them.
Also, Seul-bi can now wholeheartedly address him as her father, thinking their actions can break his curse.
“Please hold my hand. I don’t know my future. I can see others’ futures, but I can’t see my own future. But as long as I hold your hand, I can see our future and me in your future. So just once. Let me see my future.”
In spite of the challenges that Soo-kwang and Seul-bi face, they continue to show love and assurance to one another. Min-joon was also finally able to accept the truth that the person he romantically loves is her true sister.
Moreover, Seul-bi requested if she can prophesy and see her future with Soo-kwang. With Soo-kwang’s approval, Seul-bi saw that Soo-kwang will be in danger and that someone tries to kill her.
Seul-bi then asked Chief Wang’s help to reveal Il-joong’s wrongdoings since he has a high possibility to hurt Soo-kwang again. However, her plans backfired to her. Dong-shik tells the public that she and her mother are the witches that are used for Guemhwa Group’s success.
While Seul-bi isbeing questioned by the media, the vendors of Seodong Market came and testify about Seul-bi. Dong-shik intentionally ordered to publish a misleading article about Geumhwa Group. He aims to destroy Geumhwa Group and make it look like Seul-bi is a harmful person.
Jinxed At First Episodes 11 to 14 Musings
Numerous secrets are revealed in the recent chapters of Jinxed At First that made way to fix the broken relationships of the characters. Furthermore, Soo-kwang and Seul-bi’s love story is proving that no one can defy two souls who are connected by fate.
Now that Seul-bi only knows about Soo-kwang’s future, surely our heroine, who now learned to be independent, can defend her prince all by herself. Nevertheless, let’s hope that the family she formed in Seodong Market will again help them in their simplest ways.
With Mi-soo’s revelation about Sam-joong, I also hope that the remaining episodes could explain why she left him and lied to Seul-bi. She hypnotized Hyun-tae and made him her alibi, but for what reason?
Additionally, let us wait for how Soo-kwang and Seul-bi break the curses and prevent the misfortunes to harm more people that they love.
