Even though Yeon-Soo and Choi-Woong argue a lot, the two decided to film and spend time together again in the fourth episode of Our Beloved Summer.
Meanwhile, Choi-Woong is being accused of plagiarizing someone else’s work. Amidst all of these, Choi-Woong agrees to go to a party with Yeon-Soo.

Filming For the Second Time
Just like the first time they filmed, Yeon-Soo and Choi-Woong still love roasting each other in front of the cameras. The two gave their terms and conditions to Ji-Woong and accepted to film.
Ji-Woong started to delegate his team to film the everyday life of Choi-Woong and Yeon-Soo. When Yeon-Soo went to the house of Choi-Woong, he invites her to the basement to look at his drawings.
While checking Choi-Woong’s artworks, she saw a drawing and remembered their memories through it. In the past, Yeon-Soo loves messing up his artworks which makes him very angry.
As they start to film, it seems their past is being opened up again along with the wounds that both of them treated for years.
NJ Helps Choi-Woong in Dressing Up
Meanwhile, Choi-Woong accepts to attend one of the formal parties the company of Yeon-Soo organized. This is the first time that he would attend a formal party.
At first, Choi-Woong wanted to call Yeon-Soo to ask for help on what he would wear but he thought that it might be awkward. So instead, he calls NJ and asks for her opinions.
NJ has her eyes on Choi-Woong because his artwork makes her calm. She is so happy that Choi-Woong asks her to help him in picking his suit. NJ also went shopping, and Choi-Woong saw the difference between their lives.
Choi-Woong wanted to treat NJ to dinner but NJ also wants to eat tteokboki with him because sometimes she feels guilty that she bought too many clothes.
Choi-Woong’s Confession [High School Days]
In this episode, the flashback focuses on the time when teenage Choi-Woong and Yeon-Soo came to their last shoot. It is rainy that day, and the videographer went to get some batteries.
Drenched in the rain, Yeon-Soo and Choi-Woong sat together and felt that the atmosphere became tense. He saw that she was shivering and attempted to give him his shirt.
Yeon-Soo doesn’t want to accept it first but Choi-Woong insisted. As they wait for the videographer, their conversation went to a serious one. He admits to Yeon-Soo that he doesn’t hate her. She seems confused but he summoned his courage and admits that he likes Yeon-Soo.
Choi-Woong Accused of Plagiarizing
Ending the episode, there has been an exclusive interview with Nu-Ah, also a famous artist, and said that Ko-O has the same concept of drawings just like him.
Speculations came out that Ko-O plagiarizes the drawing of Nu-Ah but Choi-Woong doesn’t want to meddle with the issue. However, during the party, he unexpectedly bumps into Nu-Ah.
Nu-Ah mentions that he’s looking forward to working with him. This confuses Choi-Woong because he expects that he’s the only artist that got a contract from Yeon-Soo’s company.
Even though cameras are surrounding them, Choi-Woong went to Yeon-Soo with a serious face and asks about Nu-Ah’s issue.
Our Beloved Summer Episode 4 Musings
My heart is full because Choi-Woong and Yeon-Soo start filming again. However, it’s that not that easy to work together again after what happened to their relationship.
It is clear that Choi-Woong still has questions about what happened years ago. He also said that Yeon-Soo only brought havoc to him because their break-up caused too much of his energy. Now that Yeon-Soo is back, it seems that nothing has happened between them.
On the other side, our second leads NJ and Ji-Woong are starting to give the audience a little piece of them. NJ seems to be eyeing Choi-Woong and we can sense that sooner or later she would fall in love with him.
Meanwhile, Ji-Woong looks like he has some repressed feelings towards Yeon-Soo because at the end of the episode he said that he’s just been an audience for a long time. We can expect that he might regain his courage and tell Yeon-Soo about his feelings.
However, it is quite ironic that Ji-Woong is the reason why the two got connected again. I hope that in the end, he would not regret the choice that he made.
I almost cried when we saw how Choi-Woong confessed to Yeon-Soo. It is such a cute way of how Choi-Woong expressed his feelings to Yeon-Soo.
Even though Our Beloved Summer only began a week ago, it’s not hard to root for the two to rekindle their romance again.
We can see more in the next episodes on how problems would affect Choi-Woong and Yeon-Soo’s relationship.
