Joo Won gears up for riveting new action film Carter.
Directed by Jung Byung Gil, Carter is an action film that would make you hold onto your seats. In the play, Joo Woon plays the role of Carter, an agent who doesn’t know who he is.
One day, Carter woke up in a motel room with no memory at all. He doesn’t know his identity or where he comes from. However, he needs to conduct a mysterious mission even though his identity is a missing piece.
The Preparations
In the photo steels, Carter is shown with a grim look, covered with blood and dirt. He also points a gun at someone, reflecting his character as an agent. This shows how intense his character is, given the fact that he is on a mysterious mission.
To give a glimpse, his mission centers on bringing a girl who can cure the virus that brought chaos to the world. Her name and age are unknown; however, Carter must succeed in his mission.
Joo Woon also prepared himself. He bulked up 7 kilograms and transforms into a human weapon, Carter. He went through harsh training for three to four months. He also performed several action stunts, ranging from breathtaking bare-body actions to car chasing and motorcycles.
“There was no day when I didn’t take action even for a single day.”
Meanwhile, Director Byung Gil shares that Joo Won is the best action star that he has ever seen.
“He is the best actor in action among the male actors I have seen so far. His natural visuals and lines are beautiful.”
Carter has been rated as R-rated and will start streaming on Netflix to be released on August 5.
