Transforming to his newest action hero role, Joo Won readies to enthrall the viewers in the movie, Carter.
Initially unveiled at See What’s Next: Korea 2021, Carter is a one-scene, one-cut action film directed by Jung Byung-gil.
It follows the story of a man after he wakes up in a motel room with no recollection of who he is, except for a voice in his ear that calls him ‘Carter.’ Following the voice’s orders, Carter goes on an exhilarating mission to save a kidnapped girl.
Through the years, Joo Won has been proving his remarkable grasp of characters through his famed roles in dramas including Bridal Mask, Good Doctor, 7th Grade Civil Servant and Yongpal. His most recent work in Alice has had him paraded in various impressive action sequences.
Carter, who will be played by Joo Won, wakes up from sleep with all his memories lost and is an ace agent who is put into the operation of a lifetime without knowing the reason. In this work, the actor is expected to reveal the true nature of an attractive action hero by capturing the inner side of the character who suffers not only from physical exhaustion but giving his all to an uncertain operation.
Carter will be exclusively released on Netflix.
