6/45 is a comedy film about North and South Korean soldiers vying for a winning lotto ticket that crossed the demarcation line because of the strong wind.
In charge of the screenplay and helming the production is director Park Gyu Tae. His notable works include the comedy film Hi! Dharma! and the heartwarming movie Bunt.
Leading the cast is versatile actor Go Kyung Pyo whose last projects are Private Lives, Seven Years of Night, Cross, and Chicago Typewriter to name a few. He plays the role of a South Korean sergeant, the first owner of a winning lotto ticket. He makes tearful efforts to recover the lotto for the life he dreamed of after being discharged.
Lee Yi Kyung suits the role of Yong-ho. The versatile actor breathes life into the role of a soldier aiming for a life reversal after accidentally acquiring a winning lotto ticket. He was well-loved for his impeccable comical acting skills, especially in dramas Welcome To Waikiki. He recently worked on the period series Royal Secret Agent.
Playing the role of South Korea’s company commander, Kang Dae-hwi is Eum Moon Suk. He helps to find the winning lotto ticket. The actor has displayed a wide range of comedy acting through his last projects in dramas Hello, Me! and Backstreet Rookie.
Next, Park Se Wan portrays Yeon-hee, Yong-ho’s younger sister, a soldier of the North Korean Legion Propaganda Corps in charge of propaganda broadcasting to South Korea.
Planning to draw a strong and attractive character, the actress has been praised for her roles in dramas Never Twice, Just Dance, and films Life is Beautiful and No Mercy.
After his debut in 2012, Kwak Dong Yeon, who steadily built up his filmography, recently exploded his potential as Jang Han-seo in the popular drama, Vincenzo. He also joins 6/45 as Man-cheol. He is an observer belonging to the South Korean front unit with a silly personality.
Lee Soon Won, who is gaining recognition by appearing in dramas Delayed Justice and Search, plays the role of Seung-il, He is a North Korean political instructor who collaborates with Yong-ho.
Lastly, Kim Min Ho plays the role of Cheol-jin, a senior North Korean soldier specializing in hacking into the South.
6/45 is scheduled to be released in 2022.
