Parading striking teasers of its impressive lead cast, Netflix’s new original series, Narco-Saints is all set to launch on September 9.
Top-tier actors collaborate in this series about the life-threatening journey of a civilian businessman. He is left with no choice but to assist in the secret operation of the National Intelligence Service to arrest the Korean drug lord who has taken over Suriname, a country in South America.
Renowned film director Director Yoon Jong Bin (The Berlin File, A Violent Prosecutor, The Spy Gone North) is set to orchestrate the series. The series stars Hwang Jung Min, Ha Jung Woo, Jo Woo Jin, Yoo Yeon Seok, Park Hae Soo and Choo Ja Hyun.

In this series, Ha Jung-woo and Hwang Jung-min, have a historic first meeting as civilian businessman Kang In-gu and drug cartel godfather Jeon Yo-hwan. Kang In-gu is a person who joins the NIS secret operation after being falsely imprisoned for a drug offense by Jeon Yo-hwan from Suriname, who came to earn a lot of money.

Kang In-gu is a person who solves problems humorously and positively, rather than surviving things rough. Ha Jung Woo, who was loved by the audience as a relaxed character who does not lose his humor even in hardships and disasters characterizes this fascinating character.
Next, Hwang Jung Min as Jeon Yo-hwan, the undisputed drug cartel godfather and a rare con artist, leads the tension of the story. He is a character who does not stop his suspicions and schemes. The two-faced Jeon Yo-hwan, who goes back and forth between a loving pastor and a criminal full of greed was brought to life by Hwang Jung Min.
Meanwhile, Park Hae Soo is disguised as an international trader and shows another transformation as Choi Chang-ho, an NIS agent who approaches Jeon Yo-hwan. He boasts contradictory charms, crossing between a rational and serious NIS agent and a hot-tempered trader.
Jo Woo-jin, who has shown a unique presence in each work with excellent character interpretation and expert transformation, plays an active role as Byun Ki-tae, Jeon Yo-hwan’s right arm and action leader.
Yoo Yeon Seok characterizes David Park as a lawyer who protects Jeon Yo-hwan and the brain of the organization in charge of not only legal advice, but also the cocaine distribution network, money management, and meeting places.
Finally, Chang Chen adds strength as the head of the infamous Chinese organization in Suriname, Chen Jin. He is the second person in the drug world in Suriname who was pushed back by Jeon Yo-hwan, Thus, his dreams of a counterattack, add another tension to the play.
Narco-Saints will be released worldwide on Netflix on September 9.
