The prized actor made his appearance as a guest in the latest episode of tvN’s You Quiz On The Block: Season 3 and talked about different stories that he had experienced.
In a rare appearance in an entertainment show, Cho Seung Woo delighted the viewers with his guesting after 16 years. Specifically, his story about fishing became a hot topic.
You Quiz On The Block: Season 3 is a variety show hosted by Yoo Jae Suk and Jo Se Ho that surprises the civilians with quiz questions. However, during the pandemic, the show invited artists and celebrities to share their stories.
“I heard that the actors who appeared here talked a lot about me. When will I see Yoo Jae-Suk in my life? I’ve been waiting for you,” said Cho, showing his excitement on his guesting
Cho Seung Woo’s Backstories
Cho is considered to be one of South Korea’s prized veteran actors. He made his debut 22 years ago. In 2000, he made his first film Chunhyang and played Lee Mong Ryong.
He shared that during that time, he was only a student and auditioned wearing only a white t-shirt.
“I didn’t really want to do it. At that time, I was a student who only thought about the stage. However, during the vacation, my professor said, “I will write a recommendation letter, so come to the audition.” I couldn’t say no, I auditioned wearing a T-shirt on my uncle’s hanbok because no hanbok was prepared.”
After his film Chunhyang, he also did several popular films like The Classic, Marathon and Tazza: The High Rollers.
Moreover, he shared why he took the path of the entertainment industry and chose to be an actor.
“As a child, I had no dream. Back then, I was an introverted boy who liked baseball and bicycles. Then I saw my sister’s “Don Quixote” performance in advance, and as soon as the finale began, it was crazy. Tears poured out unknowingly,” said Cho
He also exchanged waves of laughter with the hosts as he shared his experience with fishing.
On a serious note, Seung Woo revealed that during his 20’s he met his first love but separated after four months and that first loves are not possible.
Cho’s guesting in Yoo Quiz on the Block: Season 3 made his fans know more about him along with the stories he never shared before.
