Good news for Lee Seung Gi’s Airens and Cha Tae Hyun fans!
The two all-rounder actors are set to embark on a travel-themed variety show concept for tvN’s Hometown Flex. The show reunites them with PD Yoo Ho Jin. What’s the connection between the three? They were all in 2 Days 1 Night, Lee in Season 1 while Cha appeared in Season 3. PD Yoo has worked behind the scenes as one of the show’s directors.
Hometown Flex is billed to follow the adventure of Lee Seung Gi and Cha Tae Hyun, who go to various villages outside Seoul and experience the villagers’ life to be presented by the invited guest.
Earlier, tvN confirmed the first set of guests including Cha’s bestie, Jang Hyuk as well as Lee Si Eon, and rapper Simon Dominic.
The new entertainment program follows seasonal production and Season 1 has been signed up for 12 episodes.
