Fans won’t wait that long for their current favorite thief – because Lupin 2 is coming on Netflix!
Netflix confirmed today that French series Lupin will mark its highly-awaited sequel! Lupin, a worldwide phenomenon, led by Omar Sy, which has been Number 1 in Netflix’s Top 10 across more than ten countries, will return in Summer 2021.
The five new episodes of Lupin 2 are directed by Ludovic Bernard (The Climb) and Hugo Gélin (Love at Second Sight).
On January 8, the first season of Lupin premiered with 10 episodes. It traverses the story of skilled thief, Assane Diop (Omar Sy), on a mission to avenge his father’s death after being framed for theft. 25 years later, Assane will use “Arsène Lupin, Gentleman Burglar” as his inspiration to avenge his father.
