In the scene where Jang Wook entered Jinyowon to look for Mu-deok; he was given a timeframe or the door will be closed. Maidservant Kim expressed woes of marrying off Wook to a mother-in-law who would spare no care for her young master when faced with a crisis.

Master Park responds that he will do the same if the situation would protect a lot of people. Then, Maidservant Kim asked if he will close the door coldly if the same situation occurred between them. Master Park’s moment of hesitation draws disappointment on Maidservant Kim’s face.

But to redeem himself, Master Park tells her that if he will be put in a situation where he has to close the door it would shatter his heart.

Subsequently, in the scene when Master Park deduced what happened between the King and Jang Gang, he chooses not to reveal Wook’s birth secret. He is worried about Maidservant Kim who will have a hard time after knowing it.

Then, after confirming that the dead soul shifter is not Wook; the two engage in a playful conversation as Master Park takes charge of cheering her up.

He even offers his back to be slapped if it could relieve the stress she got. He takes her hand and guides it for a faint punch on his chest.

Maidservant Kim who worries he might get something in return allows him to do the same. Suddenly, Master Park pulls her in, staring deeply into her eyes – he says he will never hurt her.

“As Songrim’s leader. there will come a time when I will be cold and heartless. But I truly do not want to hurt you.”
