Premiering on June 6, tvN’s new fantasy drama Link: Eat, Love, Kill is ready to serve audiences a warm and chemistry-filled drama. The recent event was attended by Director Hong Jong-chan, Yeo Jin Goo, Moon Ga Young, Kim Ji Young, Song Deok Ho, and Lee Bom-sori.

Transforming into a sous chef at a high-end restaurant, Yeo Jin Goo plays Eun Gye-hoon. He decided to open a restaurant in his hometown, where his twin sister went missing 20 years ago.

Unexpectedly, he shares emotions such as joy, sorrow, and pain with a woman with bad luck, Noh Da-hyun, played by Moon Ga Young. Knowing that she has an unlucky fate, Da-hyun believes that smiling will bring good fortune to her life.

Furthermore, Director Hong considers the audience in creating the drama and that everyone will surely enjoy it like how he enjoys creating it. Also, Yeo Jin Goo and Moon Ga Young both mentioned that the script is very warm, well-made, and balanced with various genres.

Director Hong shared,

“I enjoyed the script, but it was hard to make it. Various genres were mixed. I didn’t rest because I wanted to produce something that viewers could enjoy. I didn’t take any directing points or answers before shooting. Each character comes out while working with the actors in the field. The direction of the drama naturally follows through the actors.”

Yeo further adds how he feels nostalgic and proud of their achievements.

“I was looking forward to working, and I came back to the past for the first time. I’m proud of us. It’s not just a feeling of ‘let’s do well’. I really want to hear, ‘You really did a great job.'”

With that, the Director genuinely compliments the actor.

“There was nothing I could do to help as a director. He was very good when I saw him closely at the scene. It’s true. He was very good.”

On the other hand, the former child actress also conveys her emotions watching other child performers. She also receives praises from Yeo for her perfectly channeling different emotions.

“I felt strange seeing them. At that age, I acted with Yeo Jin Goo. We always look forward to working even when we were separately doing our respective ventures. We reminisce about the past while filming together. We were proud of what we’ve become. So while filming now, I think it’s more helpful because we talk about the past and know each other’s past.”

Get ready to be served by a top-notch drama, Link: Eat, Love, Kill, starting on June 6 at 10:30 PM! International fans can watch it on Viu.
