Nearing its released date, Song Seung Heon affirmed that he felt much pressure in being Derek Jo, in the upcoming 4th Season of Voice.
In an interview, the actor confessed that he never felt this much pressure before. Song Seung Heon has been in the acting industry for 26 years since his first debut.
He said that even though he is known as a veteran, he still feels tons of pressure because he is a “transferred student” on the series.
As Derek Jo, viewers can expect the actor’s new role to be full of action scenes as he plays a detective from the United States and now works with Kang Kwon-koo (Lee Ha Na) who works as the head of the emergency reporting center.

Being new to the set, Song Seung Heon believes that Moo Jin Hyeok, who was played by Jang Hyuk in Season 1, and Lee Jin Wook as Do Kang Woo in Season 2 & 3, both did a great job by having stable acting.
Lee Ha Na also admits that she was trying to adapt in filming the 4th Season of “Voice” because a new set of characters arose.
She also said that she saw Song’s tattered script and realized how the actor puts a lot of effort into reviewing his script.
Song Seung Heon Extends His Gratitude for Everyone’s Warm Welcome
Despite the pressure and being a new character in the popular mystery-crime drama, he is happy in being a part of the cast.
“Thanks to everyone’s welcome, I have relieved a lot of initial concerns and burdens,”
Expect also that Derek Jo will have a bad relationship with the villain “Circus Man” and at the same time enjoy the companion of the Golden Time Team. He also adds that he was so excited for the viewers to see the first broadcast of the series.
Seung-Heon also affirmed that the viewers would have fun watching the upcoming series.
The first episode of Voice 4: Time of Judgement will broadcast for the first time on June 18, at 9:50 PM on tvN.
