Let’s hope Ji Chang Wook feel better soon!
Recently, an official from Netflix confirmed that actor Ji Chang Wook was diagnosed with COVID-19, which results in postponing the filming of his upcoming drama The Sound of Magic.
Moreover, Netflix also confirmed that one staff member is also infected with COVID-19. They followed the safety protocols to handle the spread of the virus and protect their employees.
“Ji Chang Wook and one staff member have been confirmed infected of Corona 19 virus. According to the health authorities’ guidelines, we will stop shooting for everyone’s safety.”
However, the management affirmed that once the situation has been solved, they would immediately start shooting again for the drama.
Highlights of The Sound of Magic
Many fans are worried because of the news that Ji Chang Wook has been infected with COVID-19, however, his supporters are looking forward to his recovery.
The series will have Ji work together with Hwang In-Youp and Choi Seung Eun.
The story narrates Yoon Ah-Yi (Choi Seung Eun) who supports herself and her sister by working several part-time jobs to earn money.
She doesn’t know where their parents are, however, she is gifted with brains and achieves a good ranking academically.
Meanwhile, Na II Deung (Hwang In Youp) competes with Ah-Yi but falls and started to have feelings for each other. Afterward, Ah-Yi now then meets Lee-Eul (Ji Chang Wook), a magician.
Ah-Yi and Lee-Eul met at an abandoned amusement park and put on magic shows for people who believe in magic. Lee-Eul also comforts Ah-Yi despite him being a mysterious person.
Even though The Sound of Magic postponed its’ filming, viewers can still hope that this drama would provide a well-served plot and great synergy of its actors.
Let’s all hope for Ji Chang-Wook’s recovery along with the other staff member who is infected with COVID-19.
