OCN’s upcoming drama Chimera releases its initial teaser attracting viewers’ attention.
Chimera, which is slated to premiere on October 30, follows the story of a homicide detective Jae-hwan (Park Hae-soo), profiler Yoo-jin (Claudia Kim), and surgeon Joong-yeop (Lee Hee Jun). They all pursue the truth of a serial explosion and murder case that started again after 35 years for different purposes.
Vaunting its first teaser, the series garners viewers’ attention for the appalling car exploding scene.
Additionally, the phrase “the monster has awakened” cultivates a foreboding atmosphere exposing Hae Soo’s sharp expression. Following that is Lee Hee Joon’s screaming, immediately pulling the trigger. Whereas, someone is strangling Claudia Kim, which renders a powerful impression.
Specifically, a third-person emerged midway through the teaser, suggesting to be “chimera”. Thus, it heightens anticipation about the criminal’s real identity and the truth behind it.
