A romantic story between a magician and a police officer is one of the drawing points to watch out for in Showtime Begins!
Showtime Begins takes a ghost comedy investigation route about Cha Cha-woong (Park Hae Jin), a charismatic but cold-hearted magician, and Go Seul-hae (Jin Ki Joo), a passionate and model police officer with supernatural powers.
Foretelling excitement and fun with its storyline and characters, the series makes its launch on April 23 on MBC.
For his magician role, it was revealed that Park Hae Jin worked hard to perform a spectacular magic show himself. His graceful portrayal is expected to draw praises from viewers.
Likewise, Jin Ki Joo charms with her bubbly police officer character keen to catch criminals.
Seul-hae and Cha-woong are going to unfold an interesting love story. Along with that, the supporting characters are set to color the story.
In the vibrantly colored poster released, the main cast is presented. Jung Jun Ho plays the role of General Choi Geum who has protected Cha-woong as his bodyguard.
Suiting up as youngest police officer Young-ryul who is Seul-hae’s junior is Kim Hee Jae. He will develop romantic feelings with Jang Ha Eun who plays Cheon Ye-ji.
Rounding up the cast are Jung Suk Yong, Ko Kyu Pil, and Park Seo-yeon who are ghost characters in the series.
Accordingly, Showtime Begins has been presold to overseas OTTs in over 190 countries around the world even before filming. The first episode will air on April 23 at 8:40 PM.
